Details:
There are two tiers of ticket pricing. Tier One covers beer only. It's $22 in advance or $30 at the gate and includes 2 oz samples with hundreds of beers to choose from -- some of the nation's best craft beers included.
Tier Two is $32 in advance or $40 at the gate and includes everything in Tier One, PLUS unlimited access to food offerings from a variety of Birmingham's independent restaurants, like Jim 'N Nicks and The J. Clyde. The complete list of participating restaurants is available on the Food page of this website. Attendees of last year's Brewfest will remember the rookie mistake we made in setting up that section of the event; there were long lines caused by the way we put all the food under one tent. We are completely overhauling the food area this year and will be giving every restaurant their own tent. The bottleneck will be eliminated.
There is also a General Admission ticket for $7. General Admission does NOT include beer samples, but does give the attendee access to the live music, a limited selection of beer that can be purchased by the glass, and food that can be purchased by the plate. General Admission is great for spouses who may not be interested in sampling a wide variety of beer, but would like to attend the event and enjoy some of the food and music.
All types of tickets will be available at the gate (at a higher price than advance sales) on the day of the event--unless it sells out in advance. This page will be updated if the event sells out in advance.
This is a family-friendly event. Children are welcome under supervision of their parents and are admitted free. No one under 21 admitted unless accompanied by a legal guardian, and kids must remain with their parents for the duration of the event. Alcohol served only to patrons 21 and over with valid ID.
Designated drivers will receive free admission, unlimited access to non-alcoholic beverages, access to all the live music, and can buy food by the plate. Designated drivers must accompany another ticket-holder for free admission. They will also be treated to free coffee from Primavera Coffee Roasters. |
